Face to Face
One of the most effective networking opportunities offered by The Thompson Group is the "Face to Face" reception, regularly scheduled for our clients, colleagues and special guests. This private event is consistently attended by over 100 leaders of the Greater Austin business community, including "key influencers" such as the board members of professional organizations, members of the local media, representatives of the University of Texas and officials from the City of Austin. As the name of these receptions indicates, they are an excellent opportunity for our clients to meet "Face to Face" prospective clients, vendors, referral sources and community leaders.

PowerStart!
The Thompson Group’s "PowerStart!" is an informal, executive-level breakfast discussion that jumpstarts thought and networking among Austin’s business leaders. "PowerStart!" is consistently attended by nearly 50 of the city’s finest — including clients and colleagues — as an arena to network and focus on key issues within Central Texas. Keynote speakers are invited to the invitation-only event to stimulate conversation on a variety of issues: economic development to emerging technology; the Austin job market to business opportunities in the public sector.

Roundtable
Reserved solely for Thompson Group clients, "Roundtables" are educational luncheons that combine networking opportunities with succinct and informative programs. Keynote speakers are invited to mix a pointed and insightful presentation with ample time for questions and answers. "Roundtables" are more intimate functions attended by client representatives, providing another opportunity for Thompson Group clients to examine the possibility of mutually beneficial business relationships.
